1. Brief description
When Windows starts up, it automatically launches a number of programs
for you. Advanced StartUp Manager is program that allows you to control
what programs run at system startup when you turn on or logon to your
computer. It supports Registry, StartUp folders in the Start menu and
Win.ini file. Advanced StartUp Manager helps you handle problems with
programs that are automatically launched at startup by listing them and
letting you disable, enable, delete them and so on. You can save the list
of programs that are currently enabled or disabled as a profile that can
be restored at a later time. This option is useful when you want to test
several startup configurations.
The main features of the program are:
- Comfortable graphical user interface with categories tree
- Clipboard operations with programs
- Ability to temporary disable autostarted application
- Multiple backup configurations support
- Start and stop of all programs from startup manually
2. Installation
Use the following steps to install
If you've downloaded the self - extracting installation package named
asum2.exe just execute it and follow the setup instructions.
If you've downloaded the compressed archive file named like "asum2.zip"
unpack it to the temporary folder and execute the setup.exe file.
After the succesful installation run the program from new "Advanced
StartUp Manager" program group.
3. Requirements
The 32-bit version requires Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003.
